This beautifully furnished house will sleep 12 adults plus 4 children in comfort in 6 double bedrooms each with its own bathroom/shower room. Gray Manes has large entertaining and dining areas equipped with everything you need for a truly memorable stay. The heart of the house is the fabulous 27ft sitting room, blending rich leather with mellow oak. The large stone inglenook fireplace and double patio doors make this room a place to celebrate whatever the season.

Gray Manes is a highly adaptable, spacious property that has been re-furbished to the highest standards with superb facilities.

We have been very pleased as many of our guests have described the house as "superb, beautifully presented and well-appointed with great attention to detail. Furnishings of the highest standard and kitchen equipment impressive."

Living

The heart of the house is the fabulous 27ft living room blending rich leather with mellow oak. Seating 14 with ease on two large leather corner sofas, a natural stone inglenook fireplace with large log burner and a 50 inch flat screen TV with surround sound and full sky package. In the summer open the double doors onto the patio and garden.

The kitchen is fitted with cream "shaker" style units with black granite work-tops and lovely slate flooring. It has all the equipment you would expect including a twin oven rangemaster cooker with gas hob. In the dining area the solid oak refectory table seats twelve. In an alcove overlooking the garden is a small oak table seating 4 giving a small breakfast area for early risers.

The playroom is a safe place for small children to play with all the toys provided. Being just off the kitchen it is easy to keep a close eye on them. In the evening it does provide a tv room for those with different viewing tastes to the rest of the party.

Off the living room is a separate sitting area where a large window offers views to the garden and fields beyond. A space to read a book or take a snooze.

Off the kitchen is a large utility/boot room with a washer, sink, pegs for coats and a boot rack. The downstairs cloakroom is accessed from the utility room.

Sleeping

There are six double bedrooms one of which is downstairs.

All bedrooms are of a good size with zip and link beds which can be set up as either twins or super kings. All rooms have their own bathroom/shower room, TV and plenty of hanging and drawer space with quality oak furniture, oak doors and flooring. The bedrooms are all stylishly presented. We supply all linen, towels and bath robes.

"Just back from a week's stay at Gray Manes, great accommodation and facilities. Pool and games room were a god send especially in the wet weather. Didn't light the fire but can just imagine how cosy the lounge would be. Kitchen is well equipped, an American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washer/dryer We did an online shop which was delivered just before we got there and very grateful to the owner for putting it all away including all the pop!
